A new published study with a cohort of over 1,848 bariatric patients revealed AEON™ to have superior clinical performance and a statistically significant reduction in overall complication rates, fewer transfusions, and fewer reoperations for staple line bleeding vs. the competition in Roux-en-Y procedures (p=0.0337).

In a recent published study, AEON™ was associated with a 70% lower postoperative pancreatic fistula rate (p =0.001)  in distal pancreatectomy surgery and a 3 day shorter mean hospital length of stay (p = 0.018).

A prospective, randomized trial comparing linear endostaplers demonstrated AEON™ had 20% reduction in bleeding scores as compared to Echelon Flex™ Powered Stapler (p=0.01).
